have you researched Henry Sothill and checked the dates ?

whoever created these profiles may have mixed/miswrote dates

There was a garbled pedigree published which gave the immigrant William Wentworth a descent from the FitzWilliams by getting the Henry Soothills back to front.

Beatrice is supposed to branch off before her grandmother marries in.

PS not necessarily Wentworth, there are other people down there, including George Washington and Robert Bolling.

Henry born about 1340

The issue is still unresolved but seems to hinge predominantly on dates. Beatrice‘s parents Henry Sothill and Eleanor Mosely are both marked with birth years around 1415 which must be wrong, i.e. maybe ~1415 should be their death year, if Beatrice‘s dates are correct: her husband was born ~1350, her children were born between 1390 and 1410, and Beatrice herself died in 1430.

Another possibility is that dates of her father Henry and grandfather Henry have been confused (if they are even two distinct generations). Currently, her grandfather’s birth year is given as 1340 with a wedding year of 1375. However, if Beatrice’s oldest daughter was born in 1390, then her parents must have married by 1375 the latest.  Given that this concerns the direct ancestors of Queen Elizabeth II, it should be desirable to correct the matter.

Alas!, there are only 409 WT members eligible to make any changes to these profiles, and some of them seem to have become inactive over the last couple of years.
