I am looking for information on my great, great, great grandmother. Bridgette Foley.

My grandmothers name is Bridgette Foley, She married a Gunn. She was born in Cork, Ireland. I do not have a date of birth, I do have a date of death. She passed away In Aurora, South Dakota on September 2, 1922. He parents were, Luke Foley and Mary Candy.

Frampton ,Quebec,Canada. Father Miles Foley,Mother Elizabeth Bridget Candy.

James McElgunn marries Bridget Foley in 1864 Frampton,Quebec Canada.

There daughter Mary Ann "Mame" Foley born in Minnesota,also William Miles

Gunn ,but they must have gone to So.Dakaota by next census.James McElgun

does show up in 1875 Census ,but only shows his name.

Bridget Frances Foley BIRTH 10 MAY 1842 • County Cork, Ireland; DEATH 2 SEP 1922 • Aurora County, South Dakota, USA.  She is my 2nd great-grandmother.  Bridget married John James McElgunn (later shortened to Gunn). BIRTH 5 AUG 1836 • Galway, Ireland; DEATH 27 OCT 913 • Brookings, Aurora County, South Dakota. Their son, John Joseph Gunn is my gr. grandfather.  He m. Anna E. Gallagher, 1 Jun 1909 • Shakopee, Scott, Minnesota, The Gunn family immigrated from Ireland to Canada and later into the United States.  Part of the family returned to Canada.  John and Bridget remained in South Dakota.
