Is Euphemia (Drummond) Fleming mother of Elizabeth Fleming? [closed]

Comment on profile of Drumond-39 has had no reply,. Can someone help sort this out?

It appears to me that there are some problems with this profile, such as the Elizabeth [[Fleming-9158]] born in Dartmouth, Devon, England is shown as the daughter of this Lady Fleming, but Lady Fleming and all the Flemings are born, lived and died in Scotland.

I've left some comments on the profile for the daughter Elizabeth describing the problems and providing links to ''Scots Peerage'' that don't include her as a child of Euphame. Perhaps the profile manager will take note and disconnect her.

The PM is not pre-1500 certified which possibly could be an issue.

Agreed, but if he has additional source information he could still contribute via the comments. I assume that people adopt or create early-era profiles because they have an interest, even though they may not be able to make changes.

If you look in the changes, she was imported from a GEDcom in 2010. Elizabeth was added as a da. in 2019 so the PM possibly had no idea this happened, plus there was no citation. The middle name came from a merge with Drummond-2709, also uncited. Middle names are a later invention.

The original PM system didn't have the the citation requirements for Pre-1700/1500 today so not everyone even knows where they got these people in their tree.

I'm going to tag her with a Scotland sticker.

On Elizabeth Fleming, the history of parliament entry on her son Thomas describes her as "Elizabeth, da. of one Fleming of Dartmouth".
