My biggest projects at present are

1. The reason for this inquiry finding the parents of Samuel W. Walker bn. 11-4-1826, died 11-29*1893, lived in Jasper Co., Mo., Carroll Co. AR, Hamilton, Comanche, and Stephens Co. Texas, and the parents of his wife Margaret Jane Hurley, bn 4-4-1832, Mo

2.  Finding the parents of William Stewart (Stuart) married Sarah Ellen Hyden 4-10-1861, Hempstead Co. AR. He joined CSA and served in Co H, 17th AR infantry. Died from sickness, suspected buried in Little Rock. and

3. John Corder 1790 SC census. Trying to find his link to Corders in Va. and WV. DNA establishes a link.

Hi there,

Your SW Walker might be related to my Walkers, I have Sam's . I'm looking for A.Jack B.Walker, served in Civil war with LT Armstrong in TN, Jack is the son of William C. and Mary Walker, Jackson Tn. court documents prove it. He remarried after 1870 but I do not know to whom,I heard rumors that "they" ended up in Texas but I have lost that thread. Jack had 2 previous wives ,both named Sarah, 1st died pre1862 with 3 sons and 2nd had 3 sons, one is Sam Belle Walker Sr, a steamboat capt.on the Cumberland river noted in Army Corps.Engineering documents and book published about steamboats.

             Thanks, Lisa Manis
