Should I Move a Page from The Island Register?

I was very sad to see that David Hunter, the founder of The Island Register, passed away this summer. I didn't know him personally, but we did correspond for a bit years ago and I did send him a family Bible transcription that he was kind enough to include on the site.

My question is: would it be appropriate for me to make a WikiTree page for the family Bible transcription? I see a few pages like that, but not many - is that reasonable? I have a LOT of family members that use it as a source, so I'd like others to have access to it, ideally.

As for The Island Register, I still have many original sources to track down that I would never have known about without that site; it's helped me so much. It looks like his family plans to keep it up for the time being - I'd be very sad to see it go.

I would be sad too, Katherine!  The Register has been so useful, in so many ways. I hope it keeps going.

On your question, I've uploaded scans and photos of family Bible pages for my own family, then I can link all the people noted on the page to the same image. If I had a lot of pages, a Free-space page with the whole family Bible content might also be efficient. The fact that you shared it with David Hunter doesn't prevent you from including it here.

Does this help?
It does. I guess I wasn't really sure how to ensure others could follow my path through these records if The Island Register goes away. Sounds like it is appropriate to make a free space page here (this site is so huge, I'm not sure of all the right approaches yet!). Thank you for the help.
