should this woman be detached from these parents?

Françoise Chevalier is currently set as daughter of Gilles Chevalier and Nicole Pineau, and thus sister of Charlotte Chevalier, with the notice that she may not belong in this family group.

From data of Françoise's son, she died in Igé before 1654, when her son Éloi Jarry married in Montréal.

Charlotte for her part migrated with her son Jacques Gaudry to Québec city in 1653, and she was from Feings.

Both are in Perche, but that's about all that can be said for them.

Should we detach Françoise from these parents?

As a note, Gilles Chevalier, purported father of these women, has the France project logo on the profile but is not managed by France project.

I have detached her from these parents with appropriate note on her profile.  There's simply no evidence for her parentage found.

I agree Danielle .. I've researched multiple resources none of which listed the parents represented in her profile. There are family trees that actually list other potential parents but they are not sourced either. I could find no supporting nor contradictory proof.

Listing the parents as being researched without proof found in the comments is all I would consider.

Tres Bien ..
