Does anyone concur that has the ability to add as parents?

Doug,

What's the source or other evidence that identifies his parents?
I have added a number of tags, including for the Puritan Great Migration Project which manages Robert Rogers’ profile.
See Maddy's answer below.

As to the proposed father's profile, I would like to see an array of sources, including English wills, court records and/or items related to property transfers. With these, then, the accompanying analysis.

Do you know, Doug, how it was determined that Rogers-7647 who died about 1690 is the same man who was born about 1585? Not many lived to be 105 years of age (then or now).

Thank you for supporting WikiTree. --Gene

Hi Doug, there was a Robert Rogers christened 11 Jan 1617/8 in Cheddar, Somerset with father Robert Rogers as suggested

Somerset : Cheddar : St Andrew : Parish Register : "Parish Register" database, FreeREG (https://www.freereg.org.uk/search_records/58185668e93790eca3e8cf88 : viewed 1 Jan 2023) baptism Robert Rogers 11 Jan 1617/18

However, there are no corresponding records for christenings of his supposed “brothers” John or Christopher. Rogers is a very common name. There is nothing to link a man born in Wiveliscombe, married in Bath and allegedly died in London aged 105 with a son christened in yet another place, i.e. Cheddar. There are no sources. Looking at the profile for the older Robert, it looks like a number of different people with the same name may have been conflated. In short, I don’t think there is enough evidence to attach the profiles.

Best regards,

Maddy

Awesome. Thanks.  I guess trail of my family tree has hit a dead end.
Or, you might look at this as I do about my own families, "Opportunities abound!"
