How does my line connect to Richard Norfleet Smith?

My connection to Richard Norfleet Smith b. 1781 Halifax County, North Carolina  d.1837. A male Smith cousin of mine did the test.

My direct ancestor is Richard Noflet (Norfleet) Smith b. possibly Halifax County  NC  circa 1800  d. before 1850 in Upson County, Georgia

Married Luraney Weatherly in Upson County, Georgia

I am a descendant of Richard Noflet (Norfleet) Smith who married Luraney Weatherly in Upson Co., GA. James Noflet Smith, their son, married Georganna Clements. James and Georganna had a son,

 Gray, who is my grandfather. I have been searching for years trying to find where RNS lived and learned in your message that he was in Halifax Co., NC

Where do you live? The Gray Smith Family has a reunion at a cousin's home in Jackson, GA. in the fall.   MJ Spivey

In FamilyTreeDNA.com, I have Mr. Lawrence Norfleet Smith Sr. and were tested for 590 STR's via Big Y STR and had only 5 differences.  I've followed the line from Richard Norfleet Smith (1781 - 1837) backwards to John Smyth (1370-1446).  Will copy into Excel all the individuals from Wiki's Richard Norfleet Smith-48075 to Smyth-471.   Will post were possiable.
