How do I merge an orphan profile with its double which I manage?

I've discovered an orphan profile (Lucia Bowen; Bowen 148) which is the same person as Bowen 3542 which I created.  I adopted the orphan.  How do I merge them?

Go to the profile with the higher ID Bowen-3542 and choose intiate merge at bottom of page  in the next window put the ID for Bowen-148 and choose the compare or just go to the merge button and choose that.  As you are the PM for both it will take you to the merge screen to complete the merge and once you do that all that is left is the bio clean up :)

Remember, the Bio Clean-up is part of the merge. Eliminate the trash, order the bio and make sure the sources are complete.

Remember that you have to merge the larger number into the smallest and make an after merge clean-up on the bio.
