Need some Kendrick HELP.

Question

I am a newbie.  And I have the good fortune of being a Kendrick relation.  But as you know, there are ALOT of Kendricks out there.  So that being said, I will give you what information I have and if someone could help me, I would really appreciate it.  REALLY...

GGrandfather William Roy Kendrick  b. 04/18/1892. I believe in Kentucky/Virginia.  He passed on 12/13/1980 in Sebastopol, Cailfornia.He had a sister her name was Kathryne and her birthdate 12/29/1887.  His Father was a circut Judge, Kentucky/Virginia.  His Mothers maiden name was Bowers.  He was married before he married my GGrandmother. My GGrandmothers  maiden name was Della Viola Reeves.  At that time they were living in Northern California.  They had two Children.  William Roy Kendrick b. 12/29/1920 and Kathryne Eugenia Kendrick b. 01/11/1916.  They divorced, he married again and her first name was Leona.  They divorced and his final wife was Luella D. Kendrick.  I would like to go back further.  My GGGrandfather, GGGrandmother, etc.  I would like to thank you in advance.

The first thing you'll want to do is to get EVERYTHING you already have entered into Wikitree profiles.  If you're uncertain of anything make sure you check the "uncertain box"  In the text box of the profile page enter anything that you think might help people make a connection that this person may be the match to somene on their tree.

Once you've finished a profile run a match search.  You'll find a yellow magnifying glass towards the end of a string of links right after the person's name at the top of the profile page when you're in the "Preview" mode.  This will bring-up a list of all Wikitree profiles that could potentially match.  Review/Compare and for those that you are 100% sure are NOT a match select/confirm "Reject Match."  For the ones you're not sure about really check-out the other persons' profile page.  Research their sources if they have them.

This should at least get you started.

Try free searches at familysearch.org.  From 1900 census it shows father as JF Kendrick.  From searching him - you will find marriage as a widower to Susie Steele in 1900 and marriage o Georgia Johnson in 1896 - likely parent of Roy and Katy.
