Information on birth father.

Question

My grandson was raised in foster  care and would to know about his paternal side of his family his fathers name was Larry Cox from Utah I think around the Salt Lake area was suppose to have died in motorcycle accident, he would have been born in the 50's or early 60's.  He lived in Rowland Heights California in the early 90's and was a tree cutting worker.  Would appreciate any help in this matter.
