Last Night on My Heritage I kept getting smart matches for John Ulery 1772-1847.  I recieved David Ulrich 1746-1823. I looked up who he was. When I tried connecting who I thought John Ullery's father was to Jacob Ullery 1772-1847, I see on some ancestry posts by users Jacob Ulery died near Peru, Indiana. I looked up on google maps Peru, Indiana if there is only one Peru Indiana it is 1.8 miles from Miami County Indiana. But Miami County, Ohio is 149 miles where my John Ullery lived.

Update there are two John Ullery's with wife Elizabeth in Miami County, Ohio. One John Ulery married Besty Deeter in 1817 in Miami County, Ohio. The other John Ullery married Elizabeth Dale in 1822 Miami County, Ohio. Need to double check the two John Ulery's.

My John Ullery died before 1865, thats when Elizabeth Deeter Ulery died. Looking at Elizabeth Deeter's will. lists grand daughter Ellen Armsby, and Emeline Armsby, Laura Ullery, son in law Andrew Rarick, son in law James Finfrock, son Jacob Ullery, daughter Emeline sp? last name? and daughters Christina and Catherine.

If I can find the records now to connect my John Ullery to Stephen Ulrich, I am a double match to Stephen Ulrich, my 7th great grandfather Twice. He is my dads 6th great grandfather Twice. John Ullery's wife Elizabeth Deeter is great grand daughter of Stephen Ulrich. We are related to their daughter Elizabeth Ullery. Ullery-69 link is above.

Now I know what I am looking for in the DNA to help prove, if i can't find the records.

If you have a DNA line of youngest children, and if parents were close to 40 years old each generation. My dads father was born in 1914, I will start there in theory. Lets say you go back 40 years for a grandparent then year of birth is 1874. 1st great grandpa 1834, 2nd great grandpa 1794, 3rd great grandpa 1754, 4th great grandpa 1714, 5th great grandpa 1674.

If you have double grandparent matches for second cousins marrying, or third cousins. Or two DNA matched relatives with double lines that match in your trees DNA comes up more, or you look closer related then you are. In theory you can go back sometimes to 1700s with DNA if others have taken DNA test. My Heritage just started a Triangulate button, Hopefully I can use the DNA to give you some matches I have found and finish Stephen Ulrich's decsendants on wikitree.

Would be nice to tag the oldest lines that go back 5th great grandparents from people that tested who are still living to get others from those same lines to test also to see how far DNA does go.
