If this portrait isn't Henry Cromwell, who is it?

The portrait currently attached to Henry Cromwell, Oliver's grandfather, pretty obviously isn't him.  The man is in English Civil War dress not Elizabethan court dress. Before I detach it, does anyone know who it really is?  It would be nice to get him to his right place.  (it originally came from Findagrave)

P.S. the biography needs work, but that will happen soon.

It's Henry's grandson, John Hampden.

Here's a named image of the same portrait.

Excellent.  Thank you, Nic.  I'll move him to the right home in the next few days.

I wonder if there was a family resemblance?

To me, he does look a little like his cousin Oliver Cromwell!

That's what I thought but without the famous wart!  And Oliver was a bit more of a bruiser.
