Was seven children enough?

I'm hoping someone with interest in the Adams line will be interested in seeing if Elma Mae stopped at seven children, or had more with the second husband. Elma could use a few more sources.

My first thought was it depends on who you are asking? Emma or her husband. Or one of the seven kids who might not want another sibling

Okay Elma m. Arthur John in 1931 when she was about 19 and Arthur died in 1961, when Elma was about 49.

If they continued to live together until Arthur died in 1961+ she was unlikely to have had more children.  Whether she married a 2nd time or not, it is unlikely she birthed more. Adopted, perhaps.

I'd say she stopped at seven.  Her son Eric died in 1996 and his obituary listed six siblings.  When Elma Mae died two years later, the same six children were noted in her obituary.  She could have had other children who died in childhood but I didn't find any evidence of that in a quick review.
