When there's no profile for the little ones that died, it's as if they never existed.

I am a mom and can not imagine losing one of my children. My maternal grandmother buried 6 of her children before they reached adulthood. After starting to research my family history I learned that my dad had a brother who died as a baby. It broke my heart that no one ever told me about him. My grandma never mentioned her baby nor had my dad. I guess we all grieve differently.

i feel it is important and healing for family systems to consciously include all children who left early and let them visibly take their place in the sibling line. A family is never complete as long as those who {died young} are still missing. <3

I know that babies & children who didn't survive to adulthood mattered to their families and their loss may be felt even today without descendants quite knowing why. I like to give them a sweet place to be remembered & found.

I have found children in my own family line that no one knew or remembered about. I want them all to be remembered and know that they were loved before leaving this world.

Babies are the most incredible belssing that anyone could have, and to have a baby or child stripped away is extremely heart wrenching, but they had a purpose and we need to tell their stories.

Any child from birth to young adulthood should be remembered. No parent should bury a child. The hard heart break life of our ancestors are never forgotten.
