Research Notes
CEA LETTER1 mentions a Mattie Bell as a daughter of "William Donald Bell and Martha Wood" living in Texas City TX. Apparently, Martha Jane, may be identified with Mattie.
Apparently Mattie was still living at the time CEA LETTER1 was written. I have a vague memory of someone by the name of 'Mattie Bell' being spoken of in family conversation. She even may have visited the author of CEA LETTER1) in Kerrville, TX while I was there as a child, from time to time, in the 1940-50's.
