Biography
Bessie Odella Blackwelder was born 3 Feb 1894 in Cabarrus, North Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of Matthew Blackwelder and Martha Frances Lilly.[1][2]
She married Zebulon D. Cochran Sr. on 8 Jun 1912 in Cabarrus, North Carolina, United States.[3]
Their children were Clarence Eugene Cochran (1912 - 1988), Juanita Cochran Penninger (1914 - 2005), James Zeb Cochran (1917 - 1968), Ralph Warren Cochran (1922 - 2002), Zeb Cochran (1924 - 1983), Martha Roberta Cochran Shue (1926 - 2003), and Carol Yvonne Cochran (1936 - 2008).[4][5]
She died 3 Jul 1947 in Cabarrus, North Carolina, United States[6] and was buried in Roberta United Methodist Church Cemetery, Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA.[7]
