Biography

Nathaniel was born in 1740. ^[1] He was the son of Elisha Freeman and Lydia Freeman. He passed away Jan. 17, 1795.

Mr. Nathaniel Freeman emigrated to Liverpool, Nova Scotia with his family^[2] married Hannah Tupper of Liv., April 20, 1776 ; and died Jan. 17, 1795.^{[3] [4] [5]}, and they had children, including

1. John, July 16, 1767 ; d. July 7, 1770, in Liverpool
2. Martha, Sept. 15, 1768; married Hallett Collins.
3. Nathaniel, Feb. 19, 1770; m. Rebecca Hopkins. 2
4. Hannah, Dec. 19, 1771 ; m. John Gorham, son of Jabez, and d. 1854, at age. 83
5. John, born May 2, 1774, a twin, who died wthout issue
6. Nathan, born May 2, 1774, a twin, who died wthout issue
7. Abigail, Nov. 19, 1776; m. James Slocomb
8. Enoch, May 2, 1778 ; m. Rebecca Gardner
