Mindwell Fuller, daughter of Joseph Fuller and Lydia Day, was born about 1730. [1] Mindwell married Asa Parish, both of Kent, Connecticut Colony, British America, on 23 November 1749, by Reverend Cyrus Marsh.[2][1] Asa and Midwell had 8 children all born in Kent. Mindwell died at age 51 on October 24, 1780. [1]
Research Notes
Fourth Generation descendant of Mayflower passenger, Samuel Fuller.
The presumption is that the death date on the gravestone is accurate, since it was carved around the time of death. [3] An additional reference is: [4]
There was an extra child listed by the GEDcom, translated as I9453. Looking at trees outside WikiTree, disclosed an additional daughter, Sarah. A review of the Barbour Collection for Kent shows in the Parrish/Parish entries, after the entry for the birth of Oliver Parish, the last child, is a marriage entry for "Sarah" and John Barnum. It is clear that this name was inadvertently carried over into other trees. Therefore, I9453 does not identify a child of Mindful and Asa and deleted. Further, as the list of children, parents of Mindful and her siblings listed in the biography have been given WT IDs and connected to one another in WT, the listing has been deleted from this biography. [5] Asa and Mindwell Fuller Parish had 8 children and Sarah was not one of them. [1]

NOTE: The FS record appears to be an identical copy of the Charles R. Hale Collection record. It contains identical data, including the erroneous transcription of the name "Mindded" when the gravestone clearly reads "Minddell." Minddell, of course, is an error in itself, a "transcription" error made by the stonecarver 260ish years ago when he cut a second "d" instead of the correct "m" in her name.
