Research Notes

This profile had been placed in the US Southern Colonies Project's "Needs Extensive Work" category, with the following statement:

Seems to be lots of confusion on internet trees. Needs sourced from the beginning to document all claimed relationships.

The "Needs Extensive Work" category is for a profile with more than three "Needs", but I think three will suffice to address the stated issue.

* aside from "North Carolina Wills and Probate Records 1665-1998", but there does not appear to be any information in the biography from this source.

Howard-22834 and Howard-1740 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics, the same sibling, the same spouse and the same son. The difference in fathers needs to be rectified.
