David was born in 1768. He passed away about 1841.

David was born on 29 January 1768 in Newberry, South Carolina. He was the son of Thomas E. Johnston Jr. and Elizabeth Jane (Dalrymple) Johnston.

David Johnston married Rebecca Neal on 24 November 1789 in Newberry, South Carolina, United States. The couple had 10 children: Jabez Johnston, Arthur Johnston, Obedience Johnston, Shadrack Johnston, Elizabeth Johnston, Ezra M Johnston, Johnathan Johnston, Patience Johnston, Rebecca Johnston and Thomas E Johnston.


David died at the age of about 72 in 1841 in Monroe, GA, United States.
