(age 6) living in Ancaster Township, along with his father Peter Bowman senior (age 66) as labourer and his mother Sarah (age 66) or the Kelly farm. 1871 Census shows him in Guelph (town) farming with Anna, Alfred (16), Elizabeth (10) and Anna's mother Elizabeth Nichols (78). 1881 Census the family are farming in Egremont Twp, Grey County South. 1891 Census Peter and Anna are in Assiniboia West\Moose Jaw and Regina farming likely in Lumsden. His son Alfred T (listed as Alford, age 36) is married with children living in the same area, northwest of Regina in Lumsden. He is buried at Lumsden Cemetery.
