Ancestry.com gives somewhat different information about George Washington Kinnick: "Born in Maryland, USA [i]n 1783 to John Kinnick and Ann Kinnick[,] George Washington married Hannah Grimes and had 10 children. He passed away on 16 Jul 1865 in Johnson, Indiana, USA."[1]

Kristina, the birth date is correct, the place certainly is not. George was born in Mayland, the family didn't go to North Carolina until 1792. Thank you for reading the book, and finding one of my errors. ;-) Bill  ;-)

Per the book, George and Hannah Kinnick Family History, written & compiled by Dr Bill (William L) Smith, George Washington Kinnick's date of birth is 1784 not 1774 and place of birth was North Carolina not Maryland
