Biography

Henry was born about 1744. Henry Madison ... He passed away in 1811.

"Henry Madison, Jr. was one of the pioneers of Charlotte County. His descendants intermarried with many of the families of Charlotte and Prince Edward Counties and, from there, moved all over the nation, particularly the South. Henry Madison, Jr. (born ca. 1743) was in Charlotte County as early as 1764, but first purchased 400 acres of land on the upper side of Cub Creek on March 4, 1774. From that time until his death (May 16, 1811), Charlotte was his home."[1]
