Ernest Orser was born on February 28, 1897 in Windsor, Brighton, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. His parents were Stephen Orser and Nora Connolly.

Earl went overseas with the Canadian Army during World War One. Afterward he worked for several years as a section man for the Canadian Pacific Railway, mainly at Fredericton, Woodstock and Hartland.

He married Eva Dow on July 27, 1921 Together they had 2 children:

  1. Clayton Orser
  2. Curtis Orser

He died on March 01, 1986 in Hartland, New Brunswick, Canada
