Biography
Daughter of John Seawright and Jennet Cowan, Ella was born in Donalds, South Carolina in August of 1862.[1] She married Daniel Winn in Donalds on May 3, 1881[2] and they began farming, and raised their family, in Donalds.
Her daughter, Alice K., was born on July 1, 1886.[3]
Her son, Henry John, was born on January 21, 1891.[5]
Her son, Charles Leland, was born on December 12, 1892.[6]
Her son, Frank C., was born around 1895.
Her daughter, Nina Elizabeth, was born on November 25, 1897.[7]
Her husband died at the age of 42, and Ella did not remarry. She died at the age of 73, on May 8, 1936 and is buried at the Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Shoals Junction, South Carolina.[8]
