Catherine Tyrwhitt was born at Ketilby, Lincolnshire, England, the daughter of Sir Robert Tyrwhitt Alice Kelke.^[1][2]

Marriage & Children

Catherine Tyrwhitt married Sir John Griffith, Sheriff of Stafford, son of Thomas ap Griffith, Esq., Sheriff of Stafford and Anne Blount,^[1][2][3][4] in 1429, in Stafford, Staffordshire, England.^{[citation needed]} They had 2 sons & 1 daughter:^[1][2][3][4]
