William Ward was born 20 Jan 1791 in Wythe County Virginia, one of seven known children born to William Ward and Jane Watson. [1] William was a farmer. He married Polly Young in 1815 in Wythe County, Virginia.[2] Together they had eight children. [1] He passed away about 1861. [3]
