Whitaker was a child of six months when his parents established the family home at Hammond, and in the public schools of this city his discipline culminated when he was graduated in the high school, in 1913. Thereafter he was a student one year in Hanover College, this state, and was for a time a student in the University of Michigan. As intimated in the opening paragraph of this review, he received in 1918 from Valparaiso University his degree of Bachelor of Laws"
