James Edmonds died on December 29, 1917. It appears as if his brother-in-law, James Robinson, was the informant on the death record - which would help explain why there is no information on James's birthplace or parents. The specific birth date of January 1, 1879 and the corresponding statement that James was 38 years - 11 months and 29 days old is interesting as this could be compared with other records at some point.
