Marius Aabel was born in Denmark
Marius blev født i 1852. Han var søn af Wilhelmine Marie Jacobsen og udlagt barnefader Christian Hansen Aabel. Han døde i 1937.
Marius blev født i Lyngså, Albæk sogn, hvor moderen opholdt sig hos skomager Jacob Rasmussen. Fødslen er også noteret i Sæby kirkebog (forsørgelsessted).
Marius emigrerede til USA 25 Nov 1882 sammen med bror Barthold, med skib Geiser.
