Emilia Abadie was born on 18 April 1868 in Buenos Aires. She was baptised in the San Nicolás de Bari church on 18 February 1869, her godmother was her aunt Anna Bieckert, and her godfather her uncle Pedro Ader (not present and represented by Anna's husband Emilio Bieckert).[1]
In 1886, she reprensents her grandmother at the baptism of her cousin Juanita Ader.[2]
