Biography

Elijah, son of Daniel Abel & Sarah Crane, was born on 1 February 1743 in Lebanon, New London, Connecticut.^[1]

In the 1790 census Elijah was in Windham, Windham, Connecticut, United States.^[2]

He is said to have married Hannah West b. 2 Sep 1749 Lebanon, New London County, Connecticut, but no record has been located,

Elijah died (age 72) on 21 May 1816 in Connecticut, United States.^[3]

Elijah's estate passed probate in 1816 in Hartford, Connecticut, United States.^[4] Mentions his eldest daughter Betsy, daughter Julia, sons Elijah and Silas.
