George was born about 1801. In 1820, when he was about 19 years old, he married Elizabeth Brewer.
[1] Elizabeth passed away before 1836, when George married Ann J Stone as his second wife.[2]
At the time of the 1850 Census, George was age 49, farming, widowed, and living with four of his children—Ann (26), George W (22), Elizabeth (20) and Catherine J (11)— in District 2, St Mary's County, Maryland. He gave no real estate value.[3]
