(P. S. Pollock) He married Mrs. Agnes Brawdy, nee Aber, a daughter of Jacob Aber, an old settler.James Aber (deceased) was born in 1817, in Jefferson township, Allegheny county. Pa., a son of Jacob and Jane (Elliott) Aber.
Lewis Aber, farmer, postoffice West Elizabeth, son of Jacob and Jennett (Elliott) Aber;
...Plum township, Allegheny county. Jacob Aber was born in that township. When eighteen years of age he started in life for himself, and at twentyone married and located in Jefferson township, on the farm now owned by Mrs. Scott;
Jacob died in 1864, and Jennett, his wife, in 1856. Their children were Agnes, now Mrs. P. S. Pollock, of Baldwin township, Allegheny county; J. Eliza, now Mrs. Samuel Neil, of Bulger station, Washington county, Pa.; Rebecca, now Mrs. A. W. Bedell, of West Elizabeth; Sarah, now Mrs. B. F. Gibbs, of Peters township, Washington county, Pa., and Lewis.
