Biography
Bernard Adams born in Wellington to Joseph Bernard and Edith Mary Adams.
He first worked as a Service Car Driver and later a Bus Driver in Wellington (possibly with Walter Dahl).
He had a previous marriage to Kathleen Mary Adela Kennedy in 1931.
Bernard enlisted WWII - rank Sapper, Army number 27482 - NZEF - 2nd Division - NZ Engineers Unit 16 RY OP Company and embarked between 1940 - 1941. 1
Postwar, Bernard moved to Palmerston North and worked as a Barman in the early 1960's and by 1969 was Bar Manager.
Bernard Adams died age 74 and is buried at Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North.
