Jul 1896 in IN, both parents b. IN), nephew Nelson Adams (b. Oct 1877 in IN, single, both parents b. IN), and step-mother daughter Sarah M. Adams (b. Aug 1852 in IN, widowed, 1 child still living, father b. KY, mother b. IN). Sarah's last name may have been incorrectly listed. She would have been recently widowed after Samuel Crooks died in 1899, the prior year.
