Biography

James Adams Birth 6 Jun 1712 Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut^[1]

He married Sarah Callender on December 8, 1736 at Sheffield, Berkshire, Massachusetts.^[2] She was the daughter of Philip Callender and Mary Eaton, and was born in 1716. They had six children:^{[citation needed]}

1. James Callender, b. April 14, 1737 at Sheffield^[2]
2. Martin, b. January 23, 1738[/9], d. the same day at Sheffield^[2]
3. Joseph, b. January 23, 1739[/40] at Sheffield^[2]
4. Amos, b. April 17, 1742 at Sheffield^[2]
5. Aaron
6. Daniel.

Sarah died in 1785. ^[3]

James died on May 22, 1787 in Tinmouth, Rutland co., Vermont at the age of 74.^[4] He was buried at the Cramton Cemetery at Tinmouth.^[3]
