Biography

James Rufus Aday was born on 16 Mar 1875 in Madison County, Alabama.

In 1880, at the age of five, he was living in Beat 2, Township 6, Morgan County, Alabama, with his parents, and four siblings. [1]

He married Willie Mae McMillan on 8 February 1898 in Morgan County, Alabama. [2]

In 1900, at the age of 25, he was living in Lanes, Morgan County, Alabama, with his wife, Willie. He was a farmer. [3]

In 1910, at the age of 35, he was living in Clouds Cove, Madison Couknty, Alabama, with his wife, and three children: Rufus D (Son, age 9), Ola J (Daughter, age 7), and Mildred (Daughter, age 4). [4]

In 1920, at the age of 45, he was living in Whitesburg, Madison County, Alabama, with his wife, and four children: Rufus D, (Son, age 19). Ola (Daughter, age 17), Irene M (Daughter, age 14), and Marjorie (Daughter, age 4). [5]

James passed away on 27 February 1930, at age 54 in Rural Madison County, Alabama. [6]
