Biography

When Jasper Newton Adkisson was born on March 31, 1911,^[1] in Tahlequah, Oklahoma,^[2] his father, Jasper, was 42 and his mother, Nancy, was 35. He married Audrey M. Carloss (1912–1988) in 1930, he was 19 and she was 17.^[3] He died on April 13, 1993,^[4] in his hometown at the age of 82, and was buried in Park Hill, Oklahoma.^[5]
