The attached 1900 Federal Census for Patrick County, VA shows Eden W. Agee, b. May 1874, 26, who was born in Virginia, as were his parents. Living with him was his wife, Annie Agee, b. Oct. 1882, 17, who was born in Virginia, as were her parents. They had been married for 2 years. Also living with them was their child Claudia E. Agee, b. March 1899, 1.

Living next door was Enoch P. Cock, b. Mar. 1855, 45, who was born in Virginia, as were his parents. Living with him was his wife, Elizabeth Cock, b. June 1860, 39, who was born in Virginia, as were her parents. They had been married for 18 years. Also living with them were their children:
