Biography

Patrick Agnew^[1] was the son of Patrick Agnew of Lochnaw and Janet Gordon. He married Agnes Stewart, daughter of John Stewart and Margaret Stewart^[2] He died after 1596. He is believed to the ancestor of the Agnews of Kilwaughter in Ulster. He lived at Sheuchan, Wigtownshire, Scotland ^[3]
