Palmer Melvin Akre[1] was born November 15, 1898 at Veblen, Marshall, South Dakota.[2] He married Corine Judith Halvorson August 5, 1932 at Sisseton, Roberts, South Dakota.[3] He died February 6, 1975 at Britton, Marshall, South Dakota.[4] and is buried in the Veblen Cemetery, Veblen, South Dakota.
