He has been married for 25 years to his wife, Maria, who was born July 1850, both in Italy. John is a brewer. He immigrated in 1879 and is a naturalized citizen. Maria immigrated in 1875. Catherine is 21 (b. 1886) and lives at 123 Bliss St, Springfield. She was also born in Italy, daughter of Luigi Musselli and Luigia Marchetti. It is her first marriage as well. She works as a finisher.[3]

In the 1910 federal census, John Albano heads a household at 6 Union St. in Springfield. He appears at the bottom of one sheet and the rest of his family on the next page. John is 60 (b. 1850), born in Italy. He is a naturalized citizen who immigrated in 1880. He owns his home and gives that as his occupation, but in the column for home ownership, it indicates that he rents.
The other members of John Albano’s household are his wife, Marie, 58 (b. 1852), his son Felix, 30 (b. 1880), daughter Rose, 32 (b. 1878), Felix’s wife, "Fannie," (Alfonsina) 26 (b. 1884), son Emil, 27 (b. 1883), son Frank, 20 (b. 1890), daughter Kate, 18 (b. 1892), Emil’s wife Catharine, 25 (b. 1885), grandchildren "Michelina", 3 (b. 1907---a match for Nicolina/Margaret), and Wanda, one year and three months (b. Jan 1909); son Patsy, 16 (b. 1894), grandson John, 2 (b. 1908), and roomers Pasquale Grimaldi, 59 (b. 1851), a widower; Gennaio Albano, 23 (b. 1887), and Gennaio Grimaldo, 48 (b. 1862), who are single.
Felix, his mother, Marie, and sister, Rose, also immigrated in 1888, according to this record. Felix is a naturalized citizen. His wife immigrated in 1905. Felix drives a brewery wagon, as do two of his brothers, Emil and Frank. Fannie has had three children, two living.
The three roomers are likely to be relations, based on their surnames. They all work as laborers in a quarry.[7]
Emilio dies on 17 May 1914 in Springfield. He is reportedly 31 years old (he is 32) and married. A teamster, he dies of pulmonary tuberculosis with the contributory cause of cirrhosis of the liver. He lived at 6 Union St. His wife, Cathrine Albano of the same address, is the informant. Emilio is buried in St. Michaels Cemetery.[8]
John Albano of 26 State St., Ward 3, Springfield, MA, dies on 6 July 1919 from scarlet fever in the Health Department Hospital in Springfield. He was 11 years, 5 months, and 29 days old, DOB 7 January 1908.He was a student at Howard St. School, born in Springfield, MA, the son of Emelio Albano and Catherine Musselli, both born in Italy. His mother, Catherine Albano of the same home address, is the informant. He is buried in St. Michael Cemetery on 7 July.[9]
