Carl Christian Albertson was born about 1921 in Newell, South Dakota to Oliver Albertson and Ida Wallace.
Carl served in the Army National Guard during WWII.[1] He was an electrician and owned his own company in Albany, Oregon. He worked for Bonneville Power and Bureau of Mines.
He married Lillie Geisner in 1941 and they had four children.
Carl Albertson passed away in 2007.

Carl Albertson, 86, of Albany died Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Salem Hospital.
He was born in Newell, S.D., the only child of Oliver and Ida (Wallace) Albertson. He graduated from Rapid City High school.
Carl married Lillie Louise Geisner on Nov. 16, 1941, in Belle Fourche, S.D.
He served in the Army National Guard, working in the shipyard at Bremerton, Wash., during World War II.
Carl was an electrician and was co-owner of Rural Electric in Jefferson. He and Lillie owned Carl's Electric in Albany for many years. He then worked for Bonneville Power until retiring. He had also worked for the Bureau of Mines.
He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and spent many hours in his shop. He was a handyman and could fix anything. Carl and Lillie enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends. They enjoyed yard work and gardening.
Carl is survived by children Judy Zellars of Pendleton, Gus Albertson of Jefferson, Carol Gohn of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Gary Albertson of Camp Sherman; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Carl's wife, Lillie Albertson, was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Padroni, Colo., the daughter of Pete and Louise Geisner. She died Aug. 11, 2003.
A memorial service for Carl and Lillie will be Saturday at the Mennonite Home Chapel.
