Andrew Alberty is a part of US Black heritage.

Andrew Alberty was born August 1854[1] in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory[1].

Andrew married Elizabeth Lizzie Lillie Meigs (1867 - ) about 1889[1] in Indian Territory; Oklahoma became a state in 1907.

In 1910, Andrew was living in Armstrong, Nowata, Oklahoma; farmer, age 57

He seems to have served in Stand Watie (abt.1806-1871)'s brigade near the close of the Civil War.[2]

Andrew was named in an article listing arrests over bootlegging in 1925.[3]
