Biography
Built the house at 30 School Street. His first wife, Christina Mitzel, died leaving him with five children, the oldest of whom was an eleven year old girl. His late wife had a sister, Carrie Mitzel, who lived on the family farm on Clinton Street in Elma. She walked to 30 Clark Street to take care of the children and she eventually married her brother-in-law to become the second Mrs. John Albrecht.
