John was born about 1704 probably in Dedham, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Henry Alden and Deborah Streeter. He married Thankful Parker 26 Nov 1728 in Boston. Their children were: Jemima (d.y.), John, Alice, Henry, Silas, Samuel, Moses (d.y.), Moses, Thomas, Thankful, and Mary. He passed away in 1783 and was buried in the Needham Cemetery, Needham, Massachusetts.
