Biography

Samuel William Beatty Aldous (1916-1967) was born in London on the 5th July 1916. He was the son of Thomas Aldous & Minnie Bowden. ^[1]

He lived with his family in the Peabody Buildings on Wild Street in Westminster before WW2 when he was employed as a warehouseman for a newsagent ^{[2] [3]} but either moved or was posted to Liverpool, Lancashire. There he married Edith Cook in 1944 at St Columba's church in Anfield ^{[4] [5]} and they lived for a few years on Vanbrugh Crescent, Anfield until the early 1950's ^[6] when they moved with their 2 children to Allerford Road in Liverpool. ^[7] They lived there for over 10 years ^[8] and were still living there when Samuel suddenly died. He died in hospital at Broadgreen in Liverpool on the 23rd August 1967 ^[9]

and was buried in Everton Cemetery in Liverpool on the 30th August 1967. ^[10]
