Research Notes

There is an 1870 census record for a Rachel Aldridge whose father was a John Aldridge married to a Bettie. There are 1900 - 1920 census records for a Rachel, Rachael Aldridge as spouse of Gus Aldridge. It is not clear which Rachel that relationship belongs to. On a different note, it is possible that Rachel could have married someone with the same LN if their enslaved ancestors kept that name.
